USC School of Architecture Homelessness Shelter Solution

To cope with LA’s huge uptick in homelessness, the

USC’s School of Architecture asked some of its 4th years to work on the problem*, Wired reports, https://www.wired.com/2016/11/strikingly-imaginative-structures-housing-las-homeless/?mbid=synd_digg#slide-2.

I can see missions all over the US and Canada having rows of these “wagons” (shown above) that homeless folk can roll out every night to provide them with shelter from the elements.

In northern climates, they would need to be insulated. Adding a solar powered heater would, along with body warmth, probably get them through all but the coldest nights.
