Time Management and the Eisenhower Matrix

You could do worse than follow president Eisenhower’s graph on how to prioritize your work in four quadrants:

q1–urgent and important work (to be done right away)

q2–urgent work of lesser importance (to be done next)

q3–important but not urgent work (to be done last)

q4–unimportant and non urgent (put it on your never-never list)

For me, I’ve come to this realization–as an entrepreneur and creative person, never do today what you could do tomorrow. That’ll help you focus only only the important things for you to do now.
