Rediscovering uses for snail mail

By Bruce Firestone | Uncategorized

Whole new business models are being invented/reinvented using snail mail, which might not go extinct after all, or, at least, not ‘til the internet is connected to 3-D printers to deliver stuff/create/make things in your home or drones start flying in your cat door to deliver a liter of milk to your fridge…

I got a nice surprise via CPC (Canada Post Corporation); a supplier of mine sent me a quick pay Tim CARD with a million dollars on it (OK, not really, 50 bucks).

Tim Hortons allows users to personalize it too so now mine is a collector item.

It shows a younger Bruce Firestone together with former Sens player Frank Finnigan (who was helping us with our Bring Back the Senators campaign in 1990).

Thank you so much, Sean.

MAKING IMPOSSIBLE POSSIBLE

postscript: I also really like those biz models that allow you to upload a personal photo and send a postcard with that image on it to anyone via snail mail or create a long lasting canvas out of one of your pictures and have it delivered (framed) by CPC, USPS, FedEx, UPS…
