A new sport, soon to be submitted to the IOC for inclusion in the 2020
Tokyo
summer games, is noodle scull racing.
Here’re the rules:
Your legs must be stationary, and at or above water level at all times.
You move feet first toward the finish line using only your hands for propulsion.
The guys are required to start one meter behind the girls.
That is it; that is all.
This noodle race (more properly called the reverse noodle scull or “periscope” for short) was held at Red Pine Camp during week 6 (the 11th of August 2016 to be precise).
It was won by Lee in world record time.
Thanks to RPC lifeguard Marc for videoing the proceedings.
