Life is work, work is life

Writing poetry and songwriting (a type of poetry) is, in my view, the hardest kind of script to create, which is why I almost never try.

Still, here’s my meager attempt at Japanese haiku, which breaks all the rules, I’m ashamed to admit. Nevertheless, here’s “Life is work, work is life.”

If I’m awake, I’m working

If I’m asleep, I’m creating

I’ll die when I retire; I’ll retire when I die

This is Prof Bruce’s way of saying, “Never retire.” After all, I’m on the FREEDOM 95 trail.
