In the USA, it’s 100x cheaper to take an Uber to the hospital instead of an ambulance.

In 1 case in Quebec at Mont Tremblant, the ambulance refused to take a badly injured skier to the hospital without first charging his credit card hundreds of dollars in fees… and the ski hill had him sign a liability waiver before they would even put him in the ambulance.
