Ah, actually no.
Let me explain.
Wealth Factory says, “There is more to wealth than just money. Real prosperity involves your health, your spirituality, your relationships and your overall emotional/mental wellbeing. People don’t live compartmentalized lives.”
But I think the way to achieve “harmony” is through one of two methods:
The idea that health, spirituality, relationships, your emotional state flourish when you are stressed about money is false in my view and worse, misleading.
What’s the #1 cause of divorce?
-you fell out of love
-you fell in love with someone else
-you grew apart
-you are stressed about finances?
I’m guessing finances even though a new survey by Ramsey Solutions (https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20180207005698/en/Money-Ruining-Marriages-America) says it’s infidelity first and money second.
Except maybe the reason a person is unfaithful is because they are fed up with being short of money all the time…
To me, work-life balance is a first world issue; if creditors are calling your home at 3 am asking, “When can we expect payment, Mr Firestone,” expect some sleepless nights.
Hence, I recommend simplifying/de-cluttering your life, narrowing your focus, cutting your costs, improving your revenues/income and having a plan for creating/building wealth.
It’ll work wonders for your love life as well.
The moral?
First, take care of your business;
So, your business can take care of your family;
So, your family can take care of you;
So, you don’t become a burden on society;
Which means you can help look out for the interests of others once you have first taken care of your business, your family and yourself.
