How to tell something about your character

Abraham Lincoln once said (and I paraphrase here):

You can tell a lot about a person’s character by what makes them angry.

The actual quote is:

So I asked myself, what makes me angry?

My answer: people making the same mistake over and over again.

That sets me off. For sure.

How come?

Because it tells me that they aren’t learning from their mistakes and, at least in my world, learning is sacred. That is, they’re betraying a sacred trust–the human ability to learn… a lot in a lifetime.

So my thought is this–put yourself to president Lincoln’s test, and see what it says (positive or negative) about yourself.
