How Many Letters in the Word “Toronto”?

Only 5 if you are as clever as the people at Cundari are who designed and built the Toronto 360 sculpture. It’s a kind of way finding sign/meetup icon set on the border between TO and Markham. They use only 5, 16-foot high red letters set in the round to spell out “Toronto”.

Here’s what Cundari has to say about their installation, “With a common beginning and end, it expresses a city that does not reveal itself immediately, but rather slowly unveils its experience, meaning and possibilities.”

Creativity and design count… for a lot.
