Christie Lake Kids

“I have been a supporter of Christie Lake Kids ever since my 2 boys and I volunteered to teach children there paddle tennis many years ago. Kids in difficult circumstances and as young as 9 must be referred to the camp either by police or by social agencies. What’s amazing is that, once accepted, they are kept in the program until 15, no questions asked. Out of the nearly $1,000 it takes to bring a child to Christie Lake for ten days to learn valuable life skills and to eat decent food, their parent(s) or guardian contribute about $20; the rest must be fund raised.
